Why should I book through The Group Travel Company, rather than book the trip myself?

You call yourself the Group Travel Company, but I am thinking of travelling with my partner and a few friends. Can you still help?

Of course. We are able to assist clients wishing to travel on their own, with a partner, or as a small group.

Looking at your suggested itineraries and guaranteed departures on your website, there is nothing listed which I am interested in. Can I suggest an itinerary to you and receive a quote on that?

You certainly can. We are open to any suggestions or ideas that you may have. We can tailor-make any itinerary that suits you or your groups interests.

You mention you design and implement tours for special interest groups. Do you also cater for school groups?

Absolutely.  We can put together exciting and unique itineraries for school groups of any size. In particular, we pride ourselves on being able to provide school groups with an itinerary that can include educational programs on Tasmania's natural environment (flora and fauna) and historical past.
 

As a coach tour operator, are they your coaches you use on tour?

Regarding all our confirmed tours, and tours we make for specialist groups, we at all times use the coaches of reputable, reliable and first rate operators. For Tasmania in particular, we have included some images and descriptions of some of the coaches we use. We are impressed by them and I think you will be too.

If I pay via a credit card, is there a surcharge attached?

If paying by American Express or Diners, there is a surcharge of 3%. All other cards attract a surcharge of 2%.
